JFC…what is Michigan feeding their rookie teams?

Legit though, very nice robot. I’d love to learn about what experience the students and mentors of the team had prior to this rookie season.
Most of their mentors are from 3098 (Last year’s MSC champions), students are all rookies though.

The school is Oakland Schools Technical Campus - Southeast, with students in a variety of programs including mechatronics, machining, welding, iTeam etc. The vast majority of the CAD/fabrication was done by the students as we are fortunate enough to have some nice machining options on-site. We really push to have the kids do as much as possible, but are there with them if needed.
As for mentors, we’ve been around.

Love seeing mentors getting spread around! Seems that Michigan definitely breeds this type of environment better than any other district so far.
Love seeing what rookie teams can pull off with the right mentoring!
