Our Quals 39 at Central Missouri (MOKC3) was a “perfect” auto for us with 8 cargo.
I’m not sure how often these have occurred, but anyone wanting to share 8 or more auto cargo matches would be interesting to see.
I did see that Quals 27 of the Israel District Championship had both alliances with 8 cargo in auto, which is amazing.
I’m mostly excited for when we start seeing the “+” part of this.
I’m guessing the way to do this would be implementing auto ball chasing/tracking for falling/returning balls in auto after their preprogrammed routine is done. The reason why I don’t think it’ll be done is the risk
You could probably give a robot pretty good safe area to search if the 5 cargo stays right and the other robot leaves from tarmac area.
You should have half cargo return to your side.
This could add a lot of benefit to being on Red/Blue on biased fields… Sykes event sim calculates field bias at each event (or division), so that could help analyze whether or not it is a worthy risk at a given event on a given alliance.
Quarters 1 and Semis 1 at Bayou our alliance pulled it off. Could have done it in Finals 2 as well but one of the blue cargo hit ours perfectly to knock it out.

Both txfor qm 43 and mrcmp qm 87 appear to be scoring errors.

GA didn’t think it was odd that they scored 9 cargo in auto.
I really liked 118’s auto, but it kept hitting the low bar. We only did a 2 ball plus knock one into the hangar.

4020 hit for 5 of the 8 auto cargo in each of Q33, Q47, and Q71 at TNKN. Thanks to our alliance partners who helped us achieve the “perfect” auto in those rounds.
It will be interesting to see if anyone can get that 8+ at Champs by finding already-scored Cargo. We have tons of extra time if we are scoring just 1 or 2 in auto with a strong teammate taking the 5, but we hadn’t really thought of looking for already-scored Cargo with that extra time. I agree with @Ashray.g that this would be fraught with danger, but maybe we’ll take a look at it in the last week here before jetting off to Houston.
