A Brief Picture History of the Falcon Robotics Team

When we started it wasn’t robots, it was electric cars, full size that you could drive! Thought this would be fun to share. We use it to show the new members of our team.

Quite a success story. Your team is truly an inspiration to the rest of FIRST.
Your UAV’s have certainly progressed to an amazing extent.

Thanks for sharing

Wow! Such an impressive industrial and robotics history! May I ask why you build a UAV nearly every year? They look fascinating!

It is never our intent, but we are still learning about AUVs and when we find out that we could make it better…we do…

That is very inspiring! I very much enjoyed looking at the plethora of robots you guys have constructed. Another question, what does the “DREAM” sequence of robot names mean? Just curious

Development, Relief and Education of Alien Minors

Any background on what the names of the FRC robots are (besides the DREAM part)?

That’s also very inspiring! You’re truly a well-developed team that makes long-lasting difference in your community.

Other than the first one which was I.N.S.I.A Its not stupids its advanced, they are names after some one who has inspired or helped our team. The DREAM ones are named after students that are DREAM act students and are inspiring the younger ones…

Very cool to see Fredi, I had no idea you guys had competed in other Engineering competitions for so long before FRC. The AUV robots have certainly evolved even if they don’t get as much press now as the originals did.

I have to be a little bit of a history nerd… you have your 2004 and 2005 robots flipped in that presentation. I only remember because I saw that 2004 robot in my rookie season!

OOPs will check that out!

Thanks Donut, its fixed now.
