A campaign/experiment needs your help

Hi,

Some members of my team and I have been working on all kinds of different concepts for campaigns and ways to make interesting things. We started to think about how we could show some of the amazing things FIRST is about, with a unique touch, special to our team.

After a lot of time, and a lot of hard work, we have come up with an idea, but we need your help:
We need people to film themselves (preferably somewhere outside the darkness of your rooms, but not required) saying the word “Hamesh”

Hamesh is pronounced ‘Ha’- as in the Ha part of Hanuka (it can technically be both the ‘Ha’ and the ‘Cha’ variation, doesn’t matter) and ‘mesh’, just as it sounds… not too hard. The idea is to portray a global community of sorts.

Now, as to what Hamesh is: Hamesh is the Hebrew word for Five. Yes, 5. No, it is not part of our team number, and no, it’s significance will be lost to anyone outside our team (and maybe a few members from another team which know about it too). But we think that’s what would make this a unique kind of campaign. We plan to use the video clips and make them into a short video.
(If you wish to add a team number and name to the clip, even better, for example “Niv from team xyz sends 2212 Hamesh” ).

As for how we’d get these clips… I was thinking probably email is best, seeing as the quality doesn’t have to be HD and we are talking about at most 10 seconds of video, which is something that can fit as an attachment. If not, or you prefer youtube, post a link to this forum or send it to the email bellow.

Thanks to everyone who takes the time to help us out, and let’s hope this works!

Also, if anyone has comments about the concept, I would like to hear them!
