A different kind of support movement

I recieved an email about this and I want to help spread the movement across the country. Many people in the US and in Germany have taken white T-shirts and hand writen the words “Terrorism Sucks” on them in black marker. Some people have been wearing them since Tuesday. I think this is a wonderful idea and as many people should participate as possible. This is a way to let the rest of the world know that we will not be taken down by these acts. Please let me know if any of you will be wearing T-shirts.

We’re also putting yellow ribbons on our cars or wherever and it was also suggested putting the numbers 911 on the backs of our cars with sticky-mailbox letters in south florida. Maybe that can spread to other parts of the nation…

Sounds good to me. I’m in.

**hey, do you want to express your feelings about the recent occurence in New York and Washington. Across the county, we are asking for you to simply write the words “Terrorism Sucks” on back of a white shirt and wear it this week. Within minutes there has been huge resposne to this movement.

Is that just happening at college campuses???..because that seems a little “harsh/severe” for a normal citizen to wear…

The shirts started off as a joke. I was chatting with some friends of mine and that came out. I didn’t know they took it serious enough to start emailing and IMing people. I forgot about it after our conversation and when the message got around to me I thought someone else has started it, untill I talked to them again. It’s not a college thing. I see quite a few people wearing them or a variation, some people have written “End Terrorism” or something like that. It is a bit harsh to some people but not as harsh as what was done. Andrew, I’m excited to know that so many people have worn the shirt. I keep wearing mine. It feels good when people stop me and comment about it.
