If your SparkMAXes (and probably SparkFLEXes too, but I cannot verify this) have a yellow-ish but not always yellow light and flash strangely and inconsistently, the CAN bus is plugged in backwards at some point.
If Phoenix Tuner/TunerX shows one or multiple ‘XalonFX’ the same issue has occurred.

What I am talking about with the SparkMAXes is something that does not conform to a blink code. This is the second time I have seen it, so I though it was worthwhile information.
@Greg_Needel can you confirm and add to documentation as appropriate?
Theory - is the led rapidly blinking back and forth between CAN Fault and something else?
Possible, I remember seeing orange and magenta so it could have been CAN Fault and Brushless Encoder Error. That would check out since there was no motor connected.
