Thank you, Renee. I was excited to see what you would do after your move and it seems that I was right to be!

I can’t decide if this response was cheeky or cheesy. Just Wisconsin things, I suppose.

Whichever it is, congratulations on getting this far with the proposal. If approved, Wisconsin kids are going to feel the benefits for years to come.

Wisconsin summers are pretty nice…

WOOOH districts are coming my senior year.

It’s the winters that are the problem.

Meh winter only comes once a year.

Congrats to Wisconsin for finally taking the leap. You give the rest of us hope.

Most midwestern teams build their robots indoors, so it’s a non-issue.

Congratulations to RBB and the Board, and to all of Wisconsin. I promise you that while your concerns are valid, the benefits of district play eclipse everything else.

This is legen-dairy! It’s going to be a Gouda thing for Wisconsin! “Rookie Teams” can be rebranded as “Squeaky Curds.”

That’s 2 of 4 states I’ve lived in moving to districts :sob:

Waiting on California (and Iowa) now :crossed_fingers:

And when it does come once a year, it somehow ends up taking over late October, and mid April…

Might have to make a trip up there in 2026 to work an event. I used to drive up there all the time for work back when we had equipment being integrated in Germantown…

If future winters were like last year we will have a light dusting in mid November. nothing else until new Years, where it dumped a enough snow to cancel some of our week 1 meetings. then a pretty mild winter till late February which is when it dumps another mountain on us for week 1 of completion. At all times around 10-20 degrees farhinght. except a span of 1 week in February where it was -10 or less.

Now let’s see if we can spur team growth in the north (looking at you Wausau, Ashland, Superior, Rhinelander, Niagara…). If the UP of Michigan can have 36 teams, Wisconsin can have more than 66.
