Hey, wanted to ask a question about rule G416 - Don’t choke up on the chain.

Is it legal to contact the chain via 3 points, such that the outer points won’t move and “set” the length of the chain between them and then the middle one will pull?

It is important to pay attention that the length between the outer contact points won’t be able to change.

I would be very careful around this one. I’d question why the third point needs to pull, if the length between the first two doesn’t change.
