CD-Media extra discussion threads will now contain the image and an automatically updating (yay, ajax) information block including the title and description. So, if you edit it in CD-Media … it will change on the thread too. The main reason for doing this is so when you get to a thread from CD-Media you don’t have to go back to the photo page to see what the description is.
I think I speak for everyone when I say every time I look at one of those threads and click to look at the caption, I think “I wonder how difficult it would be to just make the caption show up on the thread…”
Can you change the pre-AJAX loading text to include a link to the image that’s being loaded? I often browse Chief Delphi through proxies* while at school with Javascript disabled, because AJAX won’t work anyway. That way, if any of us browse w/o Javascript, we can at least click on a link to the picture and read the descriptions there.
Although Chief Delphi was added to their Firewall whitelist, often times pages contain “banned words” (such as a link to a YouTube video), which cause individual pages to be blocked.
