A quick lesson in being succinct with technical problems

We all like to chit chat here on CD, however when posting technical issues there is a lot of value in brevity and being succinct. There is not a lot of need for fluff, just like when looking at a math word problem and extracting the pertinent bits of info.

I consider myself decent at this when it matters, but today on another forum someone found a fair-few (mostly accurate) critiques on a post of mine and I thought it would be a good reminder for myself and the CD community not to write a novel about a technical issue.
