A Quick Shoutout

There isn’t much that can disturb me from my summer hibernation from Chief Delphi. Three mountain teams competing in high profile off-season events this month is one of the things that can.

First, in just under two weeks, 1619 and 2122 will be trekking out to Indianapolis to compete in IRI, the “All-Star Game of the FRC.” Both teams were exceptional at their most recent events, with the first taking the #1 seed on Hopper and the second winning Carver to reach the Einstein Field in Houston. Both have undoubtedly been working on improving their fuel shooting and gear delivery since then, and will likely seed high and captain their own alliances (or maybe even team up) at the event. I’ll be watching Up-A-Creek and Team Tators, and wish them both luck.

Then, soon after, 1011 will journey to FIRST Headquarters in New Hampshire along with the other Houston Champions to do battle with St. Louis’ Champion Alliance. Both of these victors have been very quiet since their wins, and are almost certainly working on improvements to fully prepare for the epic clash that will be the Festival of Champions. Both alliances are very, very capable, and that should make for an exciting, high scoring set of matches. CRUSH, I’ll be cheering you on.

That’s it, I’m going back to sleep now. Nobody wake me up until January.

No you can’t go to sleep all the way until January. We’re going to wake you up in October because you better have a few words to say about Colorado’s (and most of the Rocky Mountain Region’s) first ever offseason event. Then you can go back to the weird reverse hibernation thing you do. But not until then.

In other news, Good luck at IRI 1619 and 2122. 1011, CRUSH it!

Ugh, fine. I’ll set an alarm.
