Able to track Fed Ex?

Hi all. I went to the Fed Ex site to track the robot shipment, and see when we can expect our robot back home, but they have no information about our tracking number. Now my casual curiousity has turned to worry. The fedex representative simply said: “If we don’t have the tracking number, we don’t have your crate.” Can anyone tell me if they are able to track the shipment using the airbill tracking number?

As far as I know, that’s how we did it before, with that number in the corner. Since it was the Championship, and they have so many crates, it may take a little while for the drayage company to get it out the door, and another little while for Fedex’s computers to register the number.

Dont worry, our robot will get here. But I have heard some horrow stories about robots arriving with no crate around them, just on a piece if wood with plastic packing tape around them.

Sometimes FedEx issues different airbills/tracking #'s when they pick-up…your best bet is to call Yellow Freight in Houston and see if your crate is gone, it proabably is.

An update for those who may be interested…

I talked to MCS today. Many of the robots have not yet left Houston. They should be on the road by Monday.
