About expansion time limit

Is there a limited time that the robot can stay expanded? Like can I stay a height of 5 feet forever or not?

Yes and no.

There is no limit on time expanded.

However, if you’re at 5’, you are going to be penalized for overheight robot per G413. Continuous violations may add penalties.

The 1’ extension is from the Frame Perimeter, which has no particular height component.

You can extend sideways in any direction 1 foot. The robots total height is capped at 4 feet when it is flat on the floor.
