Does somebody know if there is any rule that doesn’t allow Retentve valves?
As long as it satisfies R81-R94 and follows all the purchasing rules (costs less than $500, can be purchased by an arbitrary team, etc) I can’t see a reason why it wouldn’t be allowed. Just make sure you aren’t replacing one of the mandatory components like your emergency release valve.
Then again I also can’t see why you would need one. Do you have a link to something specific you’re thinking about buying?
Not sure what a “retentive valve” is. If it is a pneumatic component, it must be explicitly allowed by R84. Under which of the sub-rules in R84 does a “retentive valve” fit?
