Absolute analong encoder and internal talon fx encoder unsyncing

I hope you are enjoying your competitions.

Our team makes custom built swerves. How exciting! We use an MA3 absolute analog encoder. We use two talon fx motors to control rotation and drive, respectively. However, we noticed that our internal falcon encoders are unsyncing from our external encoders. Therefore, our wheel becomes off as the match progresses. First question: Does any other team have this issue with their swerve modules? Second question: Our PID values aren’t perfect. If we re-PID tuned our modules, would that fix the issue? Thank you
