Acronyms

I had this idea for a game the other day and had some fun playing with it in my head for a while. Hopefully everyone else will to.

The rules are simple.

  1. Acronyms go through the alphabet. (example: ABC, BCD, CDE…)
  2. The first two words of your acronym must be the last two words of the acronym before it.
  3. Try not to use random words, some of them may have to be but most should sound like actual acronyms.

Now, a bit of a start/example:

person 1: all boys count
person 2: boys count dominoes
person 3: count dominoes everywhere

Get the picture? Good, continue from there.

Dominoes Everywhere Fall

Everywhere Fall Guy

(Oh noes, it’s Lee Majors! He’s everywhere! Run away! )

Fall Guy Hard

Guy Hard Impression

Hard Impression Jewels

Impression Jewels Keep

Jewels Keep Luster.

Keep Luster Manageable

Luster Manageable Nitroglycerin

Manageable Nitroglycerin Obeliscolychny

Btw, an obeliscolychny is a lighthouse. I found it on a list of unusual words :stuck_out_tongue:

Nitroglycerin Obeliscolychny Poof! (no more lighthouse)

Obeliscolychny Poof Questionably…

Poof Questionably Redacted…

(a bad call during Aim High?)

Questionably Redacted Serpentine … draft?

Redacted Serpentine Tarantism

Serpentine Tarantism Ultimatum

(Seriously, I know your all smart…but next time I don’t want to have to look up two words in the dictionary to come up with one. Remember, the goal is to make cool acronyms, not to try and trip up the next guy.)

BTW: since we are approaching the end of the alphabet, once we get to xyz, let’s go:
yza
zac
ace
ceg
egi…
After next time around, it is up to the last person to come up with the new pattern. These patterns should be easy to follow and relatively short.(no 2000 iterated function that takes a computer to follow)

Tarantism Ultimatum Violently…

Ultimatum Violently Warps

Violently Warps Xylophone

Kerston, please read the rules on page 1.
