Acryllic?

Any one know if we can use acryllic as a shield for our board? Its mounted on a somewhat exposed position, and we’d like to put a clear acryllic shield over it.

Generaly, go for polycarbonite in place of acryllic. It’s stronger, easy enough to work with and I like the word lexan…

But protect your electronics anyway you can. Make sure that the led’s are visible on the RC, and that you’ll have easy access to your battery.

I’m pretty sure you can use Acryllic but (as Andy A. said) Polycarb might be a better choice!! Not trying to be redundant, it’s just MHO!

:::cheers:::   go polycarb!

I’m 95% positive that you can not use acryllic. We had some and we decided not to use it because someone found that you can’t use it. So try and stick to lexan.
