Adding a Talon SRX to begin.vi in Labview

I’ve been trying to add a Talon SRX to our robot to use an encoder. I have only found where people have used it on the drive motors but I need it for a lift motor. I’m sure it’s simple but I just don’t know how to do it.

could you elaborate because using for a drive and for a lift should be pretty similar in labview
do you mean the DriveMotors.vi?
