Packed up the two programmers and (prototype) robot in my car (first time a robot fits in my car! Woo-hoo!) to take them up to Week Zero at Nashua. (Rest of team in another car.) One programmer in front seat programming on laptop. Got an hours drive, might as well. On Rt 128 I realized this robot had different team number than 1153, so not to confuse with the competition robot. Backseat programmer gets robot turned on (fortunately battery still plugged in (yeah, I anticipated we’d be doing something)), hardwired to laptop in front seat, reconfigures cRIO, radio, and new code to correct team number, all before we crossed the border into NH.
Now I can threaten programming team if they don’t focus on their work, I’ll pack them in the car with the robot and drive them around until they get the code working!
