Now if we could just get on her show…

I would like to know more about this

Can I just say that the young lady’s comment about FIRST competitions being the only place where there’s a line for the men’s room and not the women’s room was both hilarious and, at the same time, sadly true.

Last year, while walking to the Georgia Dome, I passed the Rubber Duckies all decked out (see their photo). After I said hi, I felt like I had to say “Girls, you know you won’t be allowed in the pits wearing those flip flops because of safety concerns.”
Their reply, “But we’re on our way to the pool.”

It was priceless.

Congrats to all!

It’s definately good to see the recognition. We know that it doesn’t take an “All Girl Team” to work; just equal access and equal treatment.

Can you expand on this a little? I’ve been following your team for a while and I think I understand what you are saying but it would be nice to learn more.

Yay! I’ve been writing to Oprah about FIRST for years! I’m thrilled to see the girls make the article!!!
