Hey all.

Looking for a good source for aluminum tubing (which I have been told by FIRST does qualify as an extrusion)?

I have just put down the phone with some VERY nice folks with a wonderful supply of aluminum tubing.

It seems like the prices are okay and the service seems to be good and they claim to ship today if you call by noon.

AND they include the price per linear foot of their good right on the website! Very useful to us folks trying it keep that scale from tilting past 130 pounds!

I don’t have a stake in their business, but I wish them well just the same.

I will keep everyone informed on my opinion of their service and product as I gain experience with them.

If you have a favorite source for X, let us know about it.

Of course I meant that the website included WEIGHT per linear foot of each product.

They do have the PRICE per linear foot also listed but that would hardly qualify at a novel thing on a site intended to have us BUY something that is sold in linear feet.

Ah well, here’s to improved proofreading in the future.

Hello All;

First, thanks Joe, for the lead above!

I can also recommend Aircraft Spruce and Specialty Company as a great source for materials.

Not just aluminum tubing, but other shapes; they also sell steel, all the composite working stuff you can imagine, and tools.

Just a happy customer…
