Am-2898 absolute encoder wiring

Does anyone know how to wire this absolute encoder? Its am-2898 aka MA3-A10-250N.
Thanks

Assuming you mean am-2899, the US Digital absolute encoder, you wire it like a normal analog input. Red is +5V, blue is signal, brown is GND. Crimp on a 3-pin connector or solder on the end of a PWM cable and plug it into one of the four analog inputs on the roboRIO.

Thanks so much.

Good luck with using those. We ran into some problems where they only went from like .001 volts to 4.7 volts. So you’ll probably have to account for this manually somehow. If you go to the bottom, there’s some more information here: Andymark Absolute Encoders deadzone when being used with breakout board on TalonSRX
