As a means of spreading the word, I was thinking a spot in next year’s ‘Monday after the competition’ sports section of USA Today would be a cool place to feature the results of the nationals.
I am calling the USA Today to see if they would be interested in doing an article. As a plan B, I was thinking we could put an advertisement in the sports section that looked like a regular USA Today sports article the day after next year’s nationals. So I went to their site and got the pricing.
We have the skills to do an article, but the money is a bit steep. The USA Today is targeted at business people and is nationally circulated.
Since we couldn’t put the money to this, I thought I’d put the idea up and see where it goes.
