As of this writing all Regional and Championship Event slots are gone!

FIRST may open up some or some teams may drop off, but as of right now, the cupboard is empty.

Interesting development in a year where I thought I heard people saying (including me by the way) that FIRST growth was going to be somewhat stunted by historical standards.

Wondering how it is all going to play out.

Kinda ironic…

…how we’re going into the 2002 season and we havent even broken 1000 teams (highest # is 909, last time I checked).

Just give it time. I think all this economy stuff has “stunted” teams from forming due to the coroporations can’t afford all the stuff!
