We ordered the Toughbox mini am-0654. It came recently and when we tried to assemble it, we realized that it didn’t come with assembly instructions. Can anyone help?

Bah, it looks like AndyMark’s website doesn’t have them up yet. Send AndyMark an email. In the mean time, see if you can figure it out from the layout drawings?

The assembly considerations are almost always the same regardless of the gearbox from AndyMark:

  • There is almost always a lip on the intermediary gears for the gearbox. These face outwards, toward the bearings of the gearbox
  • The bearings typically have flanges on them, and the flanges typically go on the inside of the sideplates
  • If there is slop on the shaft, you’ve assembled it wrong. Take your time, try it again
