Anyone Have a Roborio 2.0 Model Without Errors?

Hey CD!

I’ve been trying to create a model of the Roborio 2.0 without topological errors. The step model provided on Andymark’s website imports into Onshape with errors.
I have been unsuccessful in trying to repair the model, and I’m hoping someone on CD may have already gone through this pain successfully.
I do know about the simplified models in MK CAD, and they are perfectly serviceable, but I have an unhealthy obsession with pretty CAD, so I’m looking for a more detailed solution here.
So far I have tried looking for non-manifold geometry, open surfaces, and problematic boundary edges to no avail. I also tried the .step to .iges to .step loop, but the .iges file for the rio had over 14k faces, and Onshape had an aneurysm trying to do operations on that.
Looking for other models on the internet it appears that they all have the same issue, so this may not be easily solvable, but I figured I’d try reaching out here before I gave up on this quixotic quest.

Thanks for the Help!

My apologies, then

This comes across as rather dismissive. For all we know the OP may be interested in high fidelity rendering.

@DunaganM have you seen Spectrum’s CAD collection?

Thanks for reminding me about that!

I’ll go dig through and see if i can find what I’m looking for.

Hello, I imported in the STEP model into Onshape and although I got an error message, it imported fine. Now, I don’t pay enough attention to the technical or measurable accuracy aspect of this, so what problem are you having specifically with the model? You said ‘topographical.’ Are any of the model walls broken?
