Wasn’t able to access the site this morning, wasn’t sure if this was part of the maintenance started last week or something else. I know someone reported it went down for awhile when the backup happened as well. Glad to see it back now.
Was it something other people ran into and does anyone know what caused it? Judging by the lack of posts for about 7 hours id assume it was everyone else as well
I got that too, it was giving a 500 error and chrome refused to load. Seemed to be a different failure state than yesterday, so not sure what’s going on.
I think I got something like “chiefdelphi.com did not respond to the request”.

What we are experiencing are “mandatory breaks” from CD before build season.

Not sure how many terabytes CD takes up but I could spare a few if needed
Discourse is sometimes failing to remove the older backups and fills the disk. I’ll put some more effort into fixing this today.
Seems much longer than what I’ve been seeing, but I don’t wake up til at least 6 am est so wouldn’t see it any earlier than that
Last time Brandon had given us all a total it was just under 100GB for a single backup
