Would it help if we wrote a white paper about how we designed and fabricated the Slim CIM? That way all FIRST teams would have access to this game-changing technology.

This came straight from the product page. Same 8mm output shaft but on a slim footprint:

Slim CIMs are making all the difference for teams like 526, 44, and 817. World class teams getting world class performance. It’s the only motor you’ll ever need. Are you ready for the Slim CIM?

How is it mounted if there are no mounting holes in the front?

The front is sticky, so you just stick it where you need it to go.

It’s a clamp-able motor.

So its like a sticky note that just gives you a world class robot.

Yeah, basically.

I wish I could afford one.

When the motor also runs, it activates an electromagnet on the front face for mounting, and due to technology, it can also magnetically mount to aluminum.

You don’t pay with money

It’s like one of those haunted shops where everything is free but you get an unbreakable curse when you take anything.

Currently we’re stuck in Quals, so I’ll take that!

Good eye! We’ll make sure to have a print out of this in case our inspector has any questions.
