April Tag from the manual doesn't exactly fit the dimensions?

Is anyone having the issue of when trying to print April Tags from the game manual that the April Tags don’t come out to exactly 6.5 by 6.5 inches?

Our team is getting that one side of the black box of the April Tag is exactly 6.5 inches while the other side is an eighth of an inch off.

Wondering if anyone is having the same issue as us or if this difference will even make a difference in detection?

When printing, there may be a setting to make the printout be actual size, rather than scaled to paper.

We measured the tags on Illustrator too and they were off by ~0.5px

If your robot vision system is bothered by half a pixel I have some unfortunate information about field tolerances for you …

More seriously, if the sizes are only off by half a pixel on the computer, but 1/8 inch off when printing, I’d suspect printer scaling as was previously suggested.

The only print option that worked for us using Adobe Reader and Windows was to choose “Actual Size” to get the correct 6.5’’ x 6.5’’ output. “Scale 100%” (as suggested in the documentation) produced a 6.125’’ x 6.125’‘’ in our first print run.

Ours are 6.5 high and 6.4 wide. Not sure how team printing could effect what we’ll see on the field. Are you doing some sort of fudge-factor calibration?

I tried 3 different pdf readers and all printed at 6.1" with no scaling. I finally gave up and scaled them by 105% and now I’m pretty close.
