Archie McPhees and Devil Duckies

I was wondering if the Devil Duckies were sponsored or affiliated by this store in Seattle called Archie McPhees…

I was watching the travel channel and apparently this store is the biggest novelty store in America and they sell Devil Duckie figures. So I was just wondering about it. :yikes:

Team 1266 should definitely take a trip to Seattle to visit the Archie McPhee store! It’s an institution here… all kinds of wacky stuff.

More Devil Ducky varieties can be found if you google for “archie mcphee devil duckies”

I don’t think so. They’re from San Diego (1266, that is). Not saying it’s not possible, as I know that 330 (SoCal) was sponsored by NASA Goddard (Maryland) for a few years, but not likely.

The store also isn’t shown on their official sponsor list.

They aren’t sponsored by the Seattle store. They get their devil duckies from another novelty store down here in San Diego.

I know Borders (of all places!) also sells Devil Duckies. I think one of them was in camo.

We actually get them from a wholesale store in Seattle. Archie McPhees doesn’t sell their ducks at wholesale :frowning:

I think one of them was in camo.

Do you get them from Accoutrements, by chance? Accoutrements is the mail-order parent company of Archie McPhee.

Any one of Archie McPhee’s top products could be the start of a good name for a robotics team:

Yodelling Pickle
Finger Monsters

Freeloader Fork
Cupcake Bandages
Pig Catapult
Chicken Chucker

Agreed, but you have to admit that Yodeling Pickle, Captain Corndog, and Rainbow Monkey all have possibilities.

Yeah, but the Pig Catapult and any of the Bacon products already have a team. Oink Oink!
