Are we allowed to let another robot climb onto our robot, outside the HAB zone?

Team 7638 is curious if we are allowed to load another robot outside of the HAB zone.

Very likely not allowed. (But ask specific clarifying questions in the official Q&A system that opens tomorrow.) The problem is bumpers. Outside of the HAB ZONE, bumpers must stay within the BUMPER ZONE (lower than 7.5 inches to the floor). In the hab zone, that’s not a limitation. If a robot climbs on you, their bumpers are no longer legal.

Don’t climb on each other unless in the HAB ZONE. A ROBOT may not be fully supported by a
partner ROBOT unless the supporting ROBOT is in contact with its HAB ZONE.
