I’ll add a little bit to what Eric mentioned. 64 was made up of three high schools (Highland, Queen Creek, and Gilbert if I remember correctly) that ended up splitting into three separate teams. Highland became 39, Queen Creek became 1013, Gilbert was very short lived and I cannot find the number, I think they were the Jag Bots or something like that.
