Arizona FRC Team 3019 Valley STEM Expo

Hello all,
To inspire individuals in Scottsdale, Team 3019 is running a community STEM expo on January 14th. People, especially children and teens, will get to experience the wonder of science and engineering through exhibits from companies and schools. Businesses will have the opportunity to showcase their work. There will also be entertainment and food provided for the community.
The expo will be held outdoors in the open campus area of Chaparral High School (6935 E Gold Dust Ave, Scottsdale, AZ 85253) on January 14th. The event will be open to the public from 10-2, but participants will start to load in at 8:30am and have until 3pm to clean up. There is no charge for participants or attendees. We will have ample parking space available and room to bring a trailer or booth yourself, but we can supply tables if necessary. Your stand can be a variety of things, such as demos, activities, games, or showcases. Unless you have a vendor’s permit, you are not allowed to sell anything, but feel free to give out free items to the attendees.
Other local FIRST teams could bring robots or other STEM related activities for attendees.

If you or your team is interested in taking part in this or would like more information, please contact fbrobotics@gmail.com.

Degrees of Freedom will be there!
