Do you have a bus and a driver we could borrow for oh, four days? A few hotel rooms wouldn’t hurt either.
Anyway, I really hope it will be just as fun as last year.

David and everyone on 234, we are glad to hear you are coming back. We will try to have the same great weather we had last year. Looking at the teams who have signed up, this is going to be a great regional.

YAY!
We love Arizona!
Hi Indiana and Texas too!
Looking forward to seeing Canada and Mexico too!

I have been to a lot of FIRST events and this was one of the friendliest, convenient, best parking, and easiest to have lunch at. Once we realized we were not eligible for Nationals there is no place we would rather go.
It is saying a lot when you say it is “easy to eat lunch at a regional”.
The queing was top quality. Extremely organized, loud and clear, and at a very good time interval. Also, the announcer was the best I have ever seen.

That would be Don Knight from the Gila Monster. He is one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met at competition. I am going to really regret not going to Arizona this year.
I meant to say the announcer was the best I have ever heard. I think he alone made the event way more fun. Three weeks later, LA seemed more dull than any year before after attending Phoenix.
I’m glad our team is going back to AZ this year! This was an awesome regional last year, and hopefully it will be even better this year.

Ryan,
The planning committee is attempting to make The Arizona Regional the most “user friendly” regional in the nation. Team 64 is dedicated to making the regional outstanding, once again.
On a sadder note: Ken L., you will be missed!
Our Hats Off Award goes to Team 60, Kingman, for bringing the machine shop on site.

Sanddrag,
As strong as your robot was last year, just hook it up to a trailer. It could pull your whole team to Phoenix.

On that note, there is simply one thing that could be better: Last year there was only one place a person could enter and exit the stands and it was not by the field. It was a long walk around. That was kind of annoying when you suddenly realized your team was up, but buy the time you got into the stands the match was half over.

Done that. A couple times. Well, not the trailer with the team on it but a pickup truck a couple times anyway. It really kills batteries though and puts a lot of stress on the drive train.
