First Mini-Meet
Team 69 (Quincy Public Schools and the Gillette Company) is hosting the 2nd
ANNUAL HYPER MINI_MEET. This year’s “Test your FATE before you CRATE” will
be on Sat. Feb 16th at the Quincy Center for Technical Education (CTE) from
10am -2 pm. The final weekend before shipping can be very stressful for
teams that are trying to finish their robot. Last year we had six robots
attend and we believe all who attended felt that the practice time was well
worth the sacrifice in development time (several of the robots were
modified
based on results). Robots do not have to be complete or comply with FIRST
size and weight restrictions. The goal of the event is to allow teams to
get the chance to interact with other robots in a semi-competitive
environment before shipping. The event space is limited and we may have to
restrict the number of teams pending interest. Please register (if
interested) using the following registration form and email it to the
address attached.
Date: Feb 16th
Time: 10- 2pm (teams are welcome to stay later).
Location: Quincy High School
107 Woodward Ave.
Quincy MA 02169
A full playing field, concessions, weigh scale, and machine shop will be
available.
Thank you and we will keep in touch.
