Attn: All teams in CT and beyond. Come be scared and help some good causes!!

For the past 13 years in CT there has been something fun and scary happening in the month of October. When visions of Pumpkins, Witches and Goblins are on everyone’s mind, one place scares you and helps some local organizations!!

That’s right people; THE HAUNTED GRAVEYARD is back and scarier than ever in it’s 13th season at LAKE COMPOUNCE AMUSEMENT PARK in Bristol CT.

If you are interesting in going, the schedule is as follows:

DAYS & HOURS
(Gates Open at 5 pm):
Fri., Oct. 3-Sun. Oct. 5
Fri., Oct 10-Sun. Oct. 12
Fri., Oct. 17-Sun., Oct. 19
Thur., Oct. 23-Sun., Oct. 26
Thur., Oct. 30-Sat., Nov. 1

The Haunted Graveyard will be open from dusk until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. On Thursday’s and Sundays, the Haunted Graveyard will be open until 10 p.m.

A portion of the proceeds from THE HAUNTED GRAVEYARD are donated to the Juvenile diabetes foundation, local schools and youth associations.

In FIRST fund-raising terms, this means that because members of my team volunteer their time at this event, we are given a donation by THE HAUNTED GRAVEYARD for our time spent their.
(Thanks to the good folks at the Graveyard)

Also, Team 195 from Southington CT is now involved with this.
I know at least one person from Team 195 is volunteering at the Graveyard and maybe more!!

New for 2003 is the Spider’s Lair and The Temple of Gloom areas.

In total, it takes about 45 minutes to walk through the whole thing!!

Hope to see some of you there, and if you go, wear a FIRST shirt so we can recognize you and scare you even more (If you want that)

the haunted graveyard really kicks…

i used to work there untill i started school at UConn, and now no one is kindenough to drive 20 minutes from bristol to pick me up and work.

but yea, good cause, good times, good stuff

If your in CT make sure to go to the graveyard.

And for those of you who know elgin… if you think hes scary now, just imagine when he is on the clock
