AutiBot IndieGoGo Project

Team 3940, CyberTooth is working on a new project, AutiBot. This will be a robot with the purpose of interacting with children with disabilities, especially children who have Autism. AutiBot will be friendly-looking and easy to use and interact with. We would like the ChiefDelphi community’s help to spread the word about AutiBot so it can reach as many people as possible. The link below is an effort we have put together in order to help raise money for the team as we build this robot.

We have plans to drive AutiBot around before the Christmas break, and then start testing during the next 3-4 months. By next summer, we will have a working robot that will interact with children through high-fives, facial expressions, and through audio feedback. We are currently in the design phase of this project.

We would also like to thank FRC team 2081, Icarus, for inspiring our team in this effort.
