Automatically log out when quitting Driver Station app

(While logged in under the “Driver” account).

Is there any way to change this behavior?

The driver station software is actually running as the shell, rather then explorer.exe. If you could exit the driver station software without logging out, all you’d have is a black screen. There is a registry setting that controls this behavior that someone posted previously, but I can’t find it.

Even when I launch it from the start menu? I have a non-Classmate netbook that I’m using under a “Driver” account.

No, sorry, that only applies on the classmate.

The exit code calls shutdown -l whenever it is the driver account. That is a hold-over from the classmate only install, and should probably be configurable. If you configure the DS to run as shell, the current setting will make more sense. Meanwhile, I’ll add it as a fix/improvement for FIRST to consider for next year.

Gotcha. It isn’t the end of the world having to press “Cancel” when the logoff prompt comes up, but it would be nice to be able to configure the behavior.
