Autonomous only works every other time we enable

Hello! I recently started programming and came upon an issue that keeps happening every time I try to press enable on FRC Driver Station. What keeps happening is when I first press enable after deploying my code to the robot it like does a little jitter (the robot) or just doesn’t work at all until I press disable and enable again. Can anybody help me with this?

I’d also like to mention that when this was happening the communications and robot code in the FRC Driver Station was green and I already asked this question in the Technical Programing discussion.
