Just a reminder that submissions for the Chairman’s Award, Woodie Flowers Award, Website Award and the FIRST Dean’s List Award are all due at Noon Eastern Time on Thursday, February 16th. The deadline is not at midnight as it has been in certain years. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, just in case they were thinking they had all day Thursday to work on these submissions.
Thanks for the reminder, and a word of advice I always tell people is to submit your Website THE DAY SUBMISSIONS OPEN. Your website will not get judged until closer to your competition, so as long as you have a URL, you’re set. And even if you don’t finish the website, it’s better to submit an incomplete website than no website at all.

If I remember correctly, FIRST doesn’t give any exception on these dates at all. Not even the second coming should keep you from submitting on time, much less the prevalent server issues that arise when HQ is under crunch.
