First off, I want to congratulate 501, 175 and 1824 for an amazing display of offensive power today. 316 points, wow! You were truly an awesome alliance to watch
Secondly, thanks to our alliance partners 134 and 1277. We had a great time working with you, and a good run, even though we lost. I had a great time, and I know the rest of 190 did as well.
Congrats to all our award winners, especially the rookies 1991. We had the opportunity to play with you in one of our matches and holy cow, you guys blew us away. And amazing rookie bot, and an amazing rookie team, you deserved it. See you in Atlanta!
Lastly, I want to thank all the teams at BAE for making this a great experience. I had a wonderful time and met a lot of great people. See you again next year!
And a big congrats to Dan Larochelle of Team 40- this year’s GSR WFA winner!
A huge thank you to the GSR Regional committee- as always, you guys never fail to amaze me!
I had an amazing time, and wherever I end up for college next year, I’m definately coming back to NH for the 2008 regional.
I would like to send congratulations to Dan as well for taking home the Woodie Flower’s Award at BAE. Every mentor in FIRST probably deserves this award but Dan has done some pretty amazing things throughout his years with FIRST. I first knew Dan when I was working at a little company called Light Machines in Manchester he was there as well and helping to run another Manchester High School’s FIRST team (Memorial HS) I happened to be on the West High team at the time, in those days a potential spy Later we knew each other from River Rage and seeing each other frequently at competitions. Fast Forward to a few years ago when, as I understand it, Dan became involved with the Trinity team (40). It has been pretty impressive to me to watch Trinity rise and Intelitek as well with the introduction of EasyC as well as Trinity’s hosting of their “mini-FIRST” event using Vex robots, and continually producing solid machines and success on the playing field. Personally, I think it’s a really great story. I know there are a lot of great people over on Team 40 both mentors and I am sure kids as well but I am confident that Dan has played his important part. So congratulations to Dan for Woodie Flowers and congratulations to Team 40, Intelitek and Trinity HS for a great partnership that continues to yield great success and benefit the entire FIRST community.
Thanks to Team 1474 and 500 for picking us. Though our team has been in the playoffs ever year of our existence, this was our first trip to the finals and it was a lot of fun.
Congrats to 1824, 501, and 175 for their utter dominance of the playoffs. It was clear from the very beginning of Thursday that Buzz would be going to Nationals, only a question of who would go with them. You guys will do GSR proud.
Congrats to Riot Crew (section 124 represent!) and Northern Force (our match made in heaven, if not in the playoffs) for their respective success.
Big congrats to the rookies of 1991, for their outstanding rookie performance and excellent robot. I think you guys might be a look for national rookie of the year. Let us know!
I would like to return your thanks Team 190 on behalf of Team 1277. We also extend thanks to Team 134, our 2nd alliance partner along with team 190. I would also like to congratulate the 3 winning teams but also all other teams at the regional displaying such skill and excitement.
Although this was our only FIRST regional of the season, we hope to participate a bit more this season .
A final thanks goes out to all of the BAE sponsored teams, especially team 811 for sharing their practice field with us and inviting us over to dinner Friday. It is great to be part of the family.
Alas, it is my senior year and final year as a student for team 1277. It was great to experience the regional so vividly as the driver.
