Does anyone know if the inhouse video from the 2012 BAE Granite State Regional competition was recorded? If so will it it be posted on thebluealliance.com?
Also how can a team record the inhouse video feed?

I did not attend GSR and I don’t know if the inhouse video was recorded.
A quick search of YouTube yields some videos from this year. This year, TBA added support for embedding videos from YouTube. If you add the matches to this spreadsheet, the videos will be on TBA the next time Greg pulls the data from that spreadsheet.
I am planning on archiving the CT Regional this year. I did not have the necessary equipment, so I posted on Chief Delphi asking if anyone had it. I got responses from people attending the CT Regional. I will be meeting up with one of those people. He has a device made by Pinnacle which records to a USB flash or hard drive.
Actually, looking back at that thread, the person who I am recording the CT Regional with, BrendanB, says he wants to learn how to archive so that he can do so for the GSR in future years. I know it doesn’t help with this year’s videos, but if your team is thinking about archiving the inhouse video feed, you might want to check with BrendanB to make sure your efforts are coordinated.
To make sure you will be able to record the inhouse video feed, you need to verify that there will be a connection available for you to use. This connection would be yellow, red and white (composite) cables like the kind one might use to hook up a video game system or DVD player to a TV. These cables hook up to your video capture device. These devices vary in their input and output capabilities. The important thing is that they accept the composite input. Some, like BrendanB’s, output directly to USB drives, while others need to be connected to a computer.
Feel free to ask if you need any more details. The 2012 page on firstwiki is here, although there is a lot of information that will not pertain to you if you are not webcasting.
Joseph is correct I do plan on recording future GSR/any other regional 3467 attends. I had the technology but I have never set it up/was too busy getting ready for GSR to work on it.
I was hoping that team 509 who ran the webcast recorded the video but I haven’t heard back from them. I know someone had the last 40 matches that was uploaded last year a few months after the event so we’ll see if video comes up!
Its amazing how we can easily take for granted the efforts of others until it goes away. To whomever recorded GSR in previous years, Thank you!
