With the impending demise of Bag Day, I thought I’d share a parody song that I wrote a few months ago. It’s from a parent’s perspective and is a parody of “From Now On” from “The Greatest Showman” soundtrack.

(A First-Year Parent’s Lament)
Hours ago, the sun grow dim
And my fifth cup of joe grew cold
I’m glad our kids are learning STEM
But weeks go by and the build gets old
I don’t mean trouble
Still remains
I know one thing is true
This sleep I’ve lost
Won’t be regained
And I blame it all…

The pitfalls of being middle-age.

The crazy need to make robots do more
