Hey,
Is WPI doing any crazy rules for this years battlecry? I thought the rule changes last year made it the best summer comp. Just curious.

%%%%!! this is gonna be a great competition. I think its gonna be better than most of the regionals. Is WPI gonna have a ‘official’ feed? We definatly need to videotape this. I can’t wait.

I tapped the whole thing last year, just for the heck of it. And I will do it again, and I think I can borrow a professional camera to do it.

For this competition- T190 splits up…a bunch of us do team, a bunch work the competition to ensure that there are no “conflicts of interest” and so everyone can understand we’re fair about this… i’ll be running T190 for the event, so I’ve basically got the same info as all of you…

but, I can tell you if you look at the site as it says, rules will follow the FIRST Zone Zeal rules unless otherwise stated. All updates will be posted in the ‘Tactical Updates’ Section of the Battlecry@WPI website (www.wpi.edu/+battlecry)… As of yet, there have been no public rule changes.

As for the carpet- yes, we care. We yes, FIRST will still care. During the season, T190 has no place to house a field and therefore don’t build one. In past years, like other summer comps, we use one of the FIRST fields. The carpet will be that that was used at the competitions and will be needed for other competitions following BattleCry. Same rules apply.
