Beantown Blitz Volunteers

Hello all!

Well of course, every event needs volunteers… and for me personally, volunteering at events is the most fun to be had! Please reply in this thread if you are interested in helping out with the Blitz in some way. Let me know what experinces you’ve had through FIRST, how long you’ve been involved, along with what position your interested in… this is so I can start getting an idea of what can be done.

Position Wanted: Head of Field Reset crew

Skills: Was on Field Reset at BAE regional all three days have knowledge of everything needed for field reset. Will Delegate every job that comes along with field reset i.e. Ball Fillers, Quality Control, Raising and Lowering of the Bar, and general reset.


All Volunteers are requested to be present in Matthews Arena for a 7:30 a.m. volunteer meeting.

Referees may arrive for 8:00 a.m for the ref meeting.

Judges may arrive for 8:30 a.m for the judges meeting.

I’ll be there at 6:00 a.m…

Pits (building) open at 7:00 a.m.

I’d like to volunteer. I’ll be up there with Dez, and wouldn’t mind helping out with the scoring. Otherwise, I’d be happy to be a ref or field reset.

I’ve been in FIRST for 4 years, have done field reset at UTC for 2 years, and was a ref at nationals last year in Texas.
