Is it safe to assume there is a supporting team or a mentor from a veteran team? Starting with a super pit and a 973esk robot is…interesting.
No supporting team afaik, but definitely a yes to veteran mentors. Their students largely have VRC experience as well.

Location is a big one.
Especially in this specific case. I would even say that location is a primary driver for their mentors.
