With all of the posted robot reveals, what do you think are the best ball and hatch intakes?

Ball/Cargo: a big tie. This is a well known problem, and many teams’ roller intakes and a few claws look good.
Hatch: Definitely a lot more differentiation. I know the one I thought worked best, and will be back momentarily with the team number and video.
Added: 1787 is about the best HP manipulator I’ve seen, assuming they can keep the speed up with/ahead of the competition:
Best ball AND hatch intake, I would say V1 of 343’s intake (I might be a little biased)
It was capable of picking up balls and hatches from the floor and with a little work would have been able to retrieve the hatch panels from the player station as well. The intake then simply rotated backward to release either ball or hatch as the rollers were all hook-side velcro, there was no need for the air cylinder push off to release the hatch panel. Unfortunately the arm to back up that intake failed miserably (as you can see in our reveal) so we had to change plans entirely which ultimately resulted in dropping the ability to intake balls and hatches with the same mechanism (for now)

Well I like the dustpan hatch intakes, especially the few that can grab the hatch out of the player station.
As far as ball intakes, any simple over-roller design will do really, the wider and faster the better.
