Just curious what you guys think because I was watching FUN top 25 and it was like all swerve bots except 176. I’m curious if there’s any other truly dominant robots that you guys have seen that don’t use a swerve drive.

Indiana only has a couple swerve teams this year, but the powerhouse winners of Columbus (3940 and 7457) who both appeared in top 25 for week 3 run tank drives.

My money would be on 176 so far. I’m also a big fan of 7457.

That 3357 bot is what my team is hoping to achieve with our robot, they are my inspiration this season.

Not sure who is ‘the best’, but there are plenty of very good robots who didn’t use swerve.

I suspect the old school Canadian powerhouse pair of 1114 and 2056 aren’t swerve, but we shall see.

6328 had a pretty ballin’ 5 ball at their week 1 with no swerve or turret. Excited to see where their ceiling is

5813 was 11th last week with no swerve or turret. West Coast Best Coast (unless you’re talking about actual coasts)

There is a surprisingly high number of very good robots in Michigan that do not have swerve. Off the top of my head, 3538, 3357, 2075, 5460, 494/70, and 4362.
