Due to a misunderstanding in the team, the BOM needed for the robot inspection is not in order. I have never done the BOM before, does anyone have any examples they could show me? I have searched the White pages and the FIRST website, but am still unclear. Do I need to include Kit parts?

well for the BOM it is only the list of materials you buy to build your robot. do not include the kit of parts.
i did the BOM for my team last year. I simply used excel and did a columns as follows- part description, number of pieces, cost per piece, final cost of pieces
