Blockhead Bash: Southern California FLL Practice Tournament

Hello All! I’m posting this PSA on behalf of our club director. Our club hosts an FLL practice tournament and it’s coming up in October:

Dear Teams,

We are thrilled to announce the return of the Blockhead Bash, a beloved tradition hosted by the Blockheads of the La Cañada Engineering Club! After a hiatus due to the pandemic, we are excited to bring back this fantastic event next month on October 26th and 27th.

Location: La Canada High School
4463 Oak Grove Drive, La Canada Flintridge, California 91011

Time: Approx. 7:30am -4pm

The Blockhead Bash is an unofficial FIRST event and serves as a valuable practice competition for teams to sharpen their skills in preparation for official FLL tournaments. This event will include mock judging for Innovation, Robot Design, and Core Values presentations, along with the Robot Game challenge.

Additionally, we are planning another practice competition in November for teams advancing to FLL Regionals in December, so stay tuned for more information on that!

Please sign up for the October event here: CLICK HERE

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected].

We look forward to seeing your teams in action!
